Acetyl hexapeptide-8 (trade name Argireline) is a six-residue peptide with the sequence Ac-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-NH₂. In topical formulation it is the most widely used peptide for the appearance of expression lines — the areas that crease from repeated movement rather than from loss of firmness.

This is a plain aqueous solution: no oils, no silicones, no fragrance. It is meant to go on first, on damp skin, and to be followed by whatever moisturiser you already use.
