Zinc L-carnosine is a chelate in which zinc and the carnosine dipeptide are bound in a 1:1 ratio. It is handled as a single molecule rather than as separate zinc and carnosine.
Each capsule provides 37.5 mg of the complex, of which 8 mg is elemental zinc. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal skin.
